We build reference sites that answer narrow, factual questions about products — the kind of question where a wrong answer costs somebody a return, a repair, or an afternoon.
What we do
Manufacturers publish the specifications people need. They publish them in PDF manuals, in support pages, and in spec sheets that are hard to search and harder to compare. We collect that information, check it, and present it so that one question gets one clear answer.
Every figure we publish is traced back to the document it came from, and we show that document on the page. Where our sources disagree, we publish nothing and say so. It is a slower way to build a catalog and it is the only way we are interested in building one.
How we work
- Sourced, not scraped together. A value reaches a page only when we can point at the document that states it.
- Wrong beats missing, so we omit. If we cannot verify something, the page leaves it out rather than guessing.
- No rankings, no reviews. We publish specifications, not opinions, so there is nothing to buy a place in.
- Checkable by the reader. Every claim links to its source so anyone can disagree with us from primary evidence.
